My Favorite Coffee Shops in the Village NYC

Coffee is my never-skip staple of every day. I usually make myself a hot cup of black coffee – no sugar, no cream – from my Nespresso, but when I feel like treating myself I go for a soy vanilla latte. I can’t say I’m a New York coffee connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, but I definitely have my favorite spots around the Village: The Bean OK, everyone loves The Bean. If you live downtown, chances are you’ve stopped in at least once or twice. My favorite drink to grab here is a soy dirty chai latte, or a chai latte made with soy milk and a shot of espresso. It’s suuuuper sweet. Mudspot Mud in East Village has the creamiest soy vanilla lattes I’ve ever tried. It was pretty out of the way from my apartment last year, but if I find myself living within reasonable walking distance, I’m afraid I’ll blow a pretty penny stopping in every other day.
